Mbabazi Patricia is a dedicated emerging legal professional who completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Makerere University School of Law. Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to human rights, commercial and corporate law, as well as legal research and policy development within Uganda and the broader East African region.

Patricia has gained practical experience through roles with the Transcultural Psychosocial Organisation (TPO Uganda), the Civil Division of the High Court, Taslaf law firm, legal quorum, and Record of Law Advocates, where she supported legal research, drafting, and field-based legal aid work in refugee settlements. She currently serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Law Bridge East Africa, contributing to regional legal scholarship and collaboration, and as Case Briefs Editor at Law Point Uganda, promoting public understanding of legal principles.

Her academic interests intersect human rights, technology, and governance, complemented by specialized training in Policy Making in the African Union, Climate Change and Human Rights, International Arbitration, corporate and commercial law, and AI & the Law. Her thesis paper on "Privacy Laws in the Age of Big Data: Balancing National Security and Individual Rights” demonstrates her commitment to data privacy and justice in the digital era.

Driven, analytical, and collaborative, Patricia aspires to advance the rule of law, regional integration, and human rights accountability across Africa.
